Boone County Antique Tractor
In 1991, a motion was made by Ernie Taylor to form a Boone County tractor club. The 21 people present at that first meeting voted unanimously in favor. Nine directors were elected, then later that same year the by-laws were written, and black and white chosen as the Club's colors. The Boone County Antique Tractor & Machinery Club's purpose is to preserve and exhibit, for educational and historical purposes, old style power and steam machinery, farm related vehicles, hobby engines and antiques.
Club meetings are held the second Thursday of every month, 7:00 pm, at the Boone County Fairgrounds, Lebanon, Indiana. We currently have 150 members and do not discriminate based on age or tractor preference. Tractor ownership is not required to be a member. Tractors 40 years or older are welcome. Yearly membership costs $5.00 per individual or $10.00 per family.
